Covering the following locations: Cambridge

This company is a well-respected European manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation, with a reputation for good quality products. Products include incubators, pharmaceutical refrigerators and ULT freezers.
The role is UK field-based.

Role responsibilities:

- Working as part of the Validation Department, an independent part of the Service Department.
- Conduct validations and calibration at customer sites.
- Develop validation protocols and methods.
- Works closely with customers, supervisor and the planner.
- Regular contact with employees from the Service, Warehouse, Administrative and Sales departments.
- Support the Service department when there are no immediate Validation demands.
- Responsible for carrying out temperature uniformity tests.
- Work according to applicable protocol, guidelines and legal requirements

Person Specification:
- Scientific or electrical/engineering based degree or equivalent is advantageous
- At least three years' experience in a relevant field - either as a laboratory equipment service engineer or validation engineer.
- Training in the field of validation.
