TERRITORY: Midlands and surrounding areas. However there would be a requirement to work in London/Oxford/Southwest/East Anglia.
PRODUCTS: Medical and Scientific refrigeration
CUSTOMERS: NHS sector, private sector and other third party company's and end users

Reporting To: Contracts Sales Manager
Working Base: From Home

PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES
To maintain and develop profitable business by direct contact with existing customers and to actively seek out new customers and future sources of business.
Performance to be considered satisfactory when targets set are met and regularly exceeded.

DUTIES
1.To acquire a thorough knowledge of those products which are indicated to be appropriate to the target customer types and to gain a working knowledge of all other company products.
2.To acquire and develop professional selling skills by use of such training and guidance offered by the company and also by observation, reading and practice.
3.To plan the coverage of your area in order to maximise time spent in contact with customers and prospects and to minimise non-productive and travelling time. Further to plan your coverage in such a way as to visit all main customer sites on a frequent and regular basis, whilst remaining mindful of the need to maintain a higher level of contact with Key Accounts. It is expected that major customer sites will be visited at least quarterly and that all account sites will be visited at least once a year.
4.To maintain accurate and up to date records of customer details and information about visits and contacts with them. This is to be recorded on the Company CRM system.
5.To keep the Sales Director and Contract Sales Manager fully informed of the outcome of each visit by completion of the data base.
6.To prepare a schedule of visits to be made each week and to ensure that this is received by the Sales office each Monday morning. A call rate will be established for the area by the Contract Sales Manager once you have established a reasonable routine.
7.To maintain an accurate and up to date list of prospects which will be available for inspection at all times.
8.To report back any marketing intelligence regarding customer trends, computer information, new potential business areas etc.
9.To present a professional and efficient image at all times in visual appearance, speech and written word.

The ideal candidate should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who thrives on a challenge. Able to hit the ground running with a driven attitude, this person will be comfortable to work independently with either sales experience or some knowledge of NHS trusts preferable however, full training will be provided.
