Territory Sales Manager

ROLE: Territory Sales Manager

TERRITORY: East Midlands

PRODUCTS: Urology: Bladder dysfunction - 'LoFric' Catheter product range

CUSTOMERS: Hospital and Community

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be the customer's expert on Wellspect Healthcare bladder and bowel products and services- Intermittent self catheterisation and Transanal irrigation
- Promotes and sells bladder and bowel products manufactured by Wellspect Healthcare.
- Understand the prescription process for dispensing appliance contracters and to follow industry guidelines
- Create sales in an ethical manner
- Responsible for identifying and implementing potential new business, following through the sales process
- Responsible for achieving agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
- Call on new and existing customers, both pre-arranged and speculatively, to inform of products, services and clinical studies conducted with Wellspect bladder and bowel products. Using selling skills to identify individual customer needs.
- Maintains existing customer's use of Wellspect HealthCare products.
- Discusses use and effect of products, using detail aids, literature and promotional materials
- Presents and promotes products and their applications to groups of customers on a regular basis
- Attends exhibitions and company meetings as required
- To comply with all company and information governance requirements
- Collaborate on marketing programmes by monitoring and providing accurate tracking, reporting and follow up to ensure a consistent and professional marketing campaign
- Complete regular reports of a) planned activity, b) actual activity in CRM system on a daily basis
- Complete business expenses on a monthly basis
- Manage territory budget requirements in a time and cost effective manner
- Maintain professional behavior in all business settings: teleconferences, sales meeting, face to face communication, etc.

- Manage samples budget within territory requirements
- Discusses use and effect of new products, using detail aids, literature and promotional materials
- Manage samples budget within territory requirements
- Promotes and sells other products manufactured by Wellspect Healthcare
- Sells and gains commitment to purchase from persons contacted and on through the supply chain as necessary
- Presents and promotes products and their applications to groups of customers on a regular basis
- Attends Urology exhibitions and company meetings as required
- Produces regular reports of a) planned activity, b) actual activity, c) business expenses as and when required

EXPERIENCE:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Commercial experience is essential
- Ability to use own initiative with proven ability to build appropriate relationships with key customers.
- Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environment.
- Enthusiastic, efficient and highly organised - desire to constantly improve efficiencies and customer focus.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Clear thinker - ability to prioritise a demanding workload through business planning and territory management.
- Able to analyse business information such as IMS data and Select reports to refine specific product and activity focus to achieve KPI targets on a monthly/cycle basis.
- Able to apply Professional Selling Skills principles to all sales dialogues.
- Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM.
- Presentations skills, the ability to communicate well to any audience.
- Confident, articulate with the ability to resolve conflict.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexible to cover large geographical territory noted
- Self-starter
