Role Overview

Selling IVD solutions to Haematology, Immunology & Clinical Chemistry labs, this Territory Manager will cover the South UK.

TTY: South London, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Avon, Surrey.)
Products: Diagnostic assays and instrumentation
Clients: NHS: Haematology, Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Sciences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Delivering of sales targets for the region: defence of current business and growth of business via new leads and existing customers.
- Liaising directly with UK Field Sales Manager (as well as the National Sales Manager and the UK General Manager)
- Analysing current marketplace and feeding back important market and competitive information
- Planning, executing, and managing sales strategies as laid out by the National Sales Manager - this will require working in equal partnership alongside the UK Field MSL's
- Visiting customers across the defined region.
- Maintaining and building (new) relationships with existing and new customers across Ireland
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Working with the Contracts Manager to successfully complete tender bids on time.
- Working with UK (and Global) marketing team(s) to deliver improvements in brand engagement for all products
- Developing laboratory KOL Advocates for the products (some of whom can be used as 'independent' coaches across Ireland)
- Communicating effectively to all internal stakeholders and Sales team

Person Specification

Candidate specification:
- BSc Biological Science or Life Sciences (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of NHS, especially pathology laboratory.
- Experience of working within the NHS in one of the fields of Haematology, Immunology, Clinical - Chemistry, Blood Sciences OR experience of pathology/diagnostic sales
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- To self-motivated and show initiative
- The ability to analyse data
- Good IT skills (EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint)
- To be flexible to the needs of the business
- Good driving record
