A great opportunity for applicants with experience working in an NHS laboratory (e.g. Biomedical Scientist/MLA/Medical Technical Officer) and also working in a customer focused sales or target driven role to move into a scientific sales position!

PRODUCTS: In-vitro diagnostics products, reagents and instrumentation used in NHS microbiology, haematology, point of care, immunology, biochemistry laboratories, as well as research and academic laboratories.
CUSTOMERS: Clinical and Research Laboratories
TERRITORY: South-East England and East Anglia

The role involves maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. It is field-based, with around 80% travel to customer sites across the region, with around 1 day per week working from home and full training is provided..

Role Responsibilities:
Maintain existing customer relationships
Develop and expand on new business opportunities
Assist with instrument demonstrations for customers.
Attendance at industry networking events, conferences and exhibitions
Maintain excellent knowledge of the market, competitor activity and market developments.

Person Specification:
Life Science-based degree, ideally Biomedical Sciences
Experience working in an NHS or clinical laboratory is preferable
Post-degree experience in a sales role (scientific or B2B/telesales/retail)
The role is suitable for people looking to move into a customer-focused, commercial position within scientific sales as full training is provided.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate scientific products and material to customers
