We have an exciting position for a Tenders Specialist to join the Tenders & Managed service contract process within a leading provider of in vitro diagnostics.

Location: home/field based. This role can be located anywhere in the UK.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
1. Complete the technical specifications for the Clinical Tenders & Managed Service Contract Process within the company
2. Take full responsibility for the preparation and return of documentation in response to a tender. Coordinate all parties involved in the tender process, ensuring each party knows what is required in line with project timescales.
3. Create, manage and maintain a question bank for tender responses.
4. To answer all technical responses related to service, quality, application, support, IT
5. To support the commercial teams in the promotion, preparation and maintenance of Managed Service Contracts & Tenders.
6. Back up to the Sales manager and Tenders and Contracts Manager during meetings with Prime Contractors
7. To strictly adhere to administrative tasks on time every time.
8. Assist in any other duty within the company as reasonably requested.

Person Specification

The successful candidate must have:
- Experience in the diagnostic or contract business.
- Higher scientific (or Business) education, good knowledge and understanding of Clinical Microbiology or Virology/ Molecular techniques.
