This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to become a specialist on safety cabinets that creates clean air within laboratory environments to ensure these areas do not get contaminated. This includes but is not limited to installation, IQ/OQ, preventive maintenance, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, adjustments, calibrations, alignments and part replacement.


Role Overview

Become the technical expert on all Company products, including Biological Safety Cabinets, Laminar flow units, Fume hoods, Laboratory cold storage devices etc
Assisting customers and field personnel with technical questions and arrange for necessary repairs or training on all Company products with a high sense of urgency and professionalism.
Train field resources on technical aspects of the product and help troubleshoot field issues.
Identify and maintain inventory of necessary service parts.
Be able to systematically identify the root cause of issues and carry out practical corrective/preventive measures.
As necessary, repair or install Company's products in the field.
Maintain a complete and detailed service log and report re-occurring issues to the factory.
Be able to identify and maintain tools and equipment necessary to do the required job.


Person Specification

Be able to demonstrate a track record in the delivery of other technical engineering services in the field
To have at least a years experience in laboratory environments as a field service engineer working in the clean air industry
Have a strong "can do" service ethos
Be able to respond quickly to changes in job instruction brought about by breakdown or changing customer requirements
Be able to work as a team with other engineers on multi person assignments
