We have an office-based Technical Support Specialist position available which is a perfect opportunity for a Life Scientist to transition into a commercial role!

The primary responsibility of the Technical Support is to handle first level technical support to customers in the Life Sciences market (academic, pharma, biotech labs) with a high professional level. This relates to all products in the Life Science range including, reagents, consumables and instrumentation for genomics and cell biology research.
The position is office based in Hertfordshire.


-Identify, research, and resolve technical problems on the company's product portfolio.

-Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support

-Document, track, and monitor cases daily to ensure compliance and timely resolutions

-Prioritize multiple issues and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner

-Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction

-Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

-Help with training and development

Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biology or related subject.
Post-degree laboratory experience or 3+ year's laboratory experience during studies is preferred.
Service minded and having a "can do attitude", plus excellent communication skills
Excellent communication skills, team focused, good telephone manner
