A great opportunity for a Biomedical Scientist (within Immunology/Biochemistry/Haematology/Microbiology) who is looking to move into a customer-facing scientific role involving technical support, troubleshooting, instrument maintenance and customer training at their sites.

TERRITORY: Midlands (central part of the UK from Bristol to Preston)
CUSTOMERS: NHS laboratories
PRODUCTS: clinical diagnostics instrumentation used in pathology laboratories

This position is field-based travelling to customer sites around 3-4 days a week across the region. The rest of the week is spent working from home.

Responsibilities:
- Support the field sales team with post-sales instrument installations at customer sites.
- Troubleshooting instrumentation, checking assays and resolving customer issues.
- Customer technical support.
- Customer training on instrumentation.
- Bi-annual preventative maintenance on instrumentation at customer sites.
- Ensure excellent customer service, efficient response time and build trusted relationships with customers.

Person Specification:
BSc Biomedical Science
Experience working as a Biomedical Scientist looking to move into a commercial scientific position
Experience in training and troubleshooting within the laboratory would be advantageous
