We have a new position as a Technical Support Specialist currently available, perfect for someone who is holding a MSc or a PhD in a life science subject looking to move into a customer facing role!

The Role:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide scientific, technical and training support to Customers and Staff. The role will cover a research, clinical and cell analysis product portfolio. You will also provide product and application training for customers and staff at the UK laboratory based in Bisley and you will be expected to handle customer complaints in a professional and timely manner and to work with our sales, service, marketing and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

The position requires you to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships. Qualified to MSc/PhD level with a 1st degree in a natural sciences subject, and with experience in flow cytometry and cell sorting. You will be based at the UK office in Bisley, Surrey but may have occasional travel to UK customer sites, or to international training hubs within the business worldwide.

The Ideal candidate:
- Holds a MSc or PhD degree in a natural science subject (biology, biotechnology, medicine)
- Experience in different biological fields such as cell biology, immunology, haematology, neurology, or stem cells.
- Experience with flow cytometry, cell culture, functional assays, transfusion medicine or cell processing.
- Ability to put customer satisfaction at the heart of everything you do
- Has excellent written and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Self-motivated team player
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Works well alone or as part of a team
- Fluency in English language is essential
