Role Overview

Reporting to: UK Technical Support Manager
Home-based role with travel to sites required as and when needed.

Are you a Field Service Engineer working in the Biomedical industry looking to cut down on travel? If so, we may have the opportunity for you!


Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Providing technical support activites where needed across all departments. In addition, providing systems training to colleagues as needed.
- Assisting with Tech Support projects in line with agreed objectives.
- Helping with the management of technical audit data consolidation - data accuracy, coding and uploading of data for new contracts.
- Performing 'health checks' on sites which includes analysis of Biomedical technical activites, documentation and performance, co-ordinating with the Quality Manager.
- Managing the daily activities of the technical administrator.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate:

- Will have previous experience in working with Biomedical equipment (as well as OEM training).
- Candidates who are able to demonstrate proven Field Service experience will be considered.
- HNC/HNC in Engineering, electronics or biomedical engineering (Desirable).
- Previous managerial experience is desirable.
- Will be highly competent in MS Excel / Word and will have excellent written and communication skills.
- Previous experience in working with databases is also essential.
- Travel as needed to perform Operational & Support duties and providing training where necessary.

Package

- £40,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience).
- £5,000 car allowance
- Pension; 3% employee and 5% employer - Provider is Royal London (work place pension) - auto enrolled after 3 months (have the option to opt out after 1st deduction)
