Summary
This position involves hands on servicing of professional scientific imaging technologies equipment for a UK based subsidiary that's part of a large International imaging and components company.

Key Activities
Service, maintenance and repair of digital imaging equipment, verifying its operational performance and set-up.
Troubleshooting and identifying equipment issues, software and firmware updates and facilitating repairs through our International service group.
Install or reinstall application software, driver and frame grabber card.
Be the first point of call for all customer technical issues (ie non-sales)
Liaise with sales engineers on potential customer upgrades.
Support in-house staff training on digital imaging and digital technology.

Skills and Experience required:
Min of 2 years experience in servicing and repairing of professional digital / optical equipment is required.
Diagnose faults in electronic circuitry and have the ability to remove and replace components at board level.
Candidate must have strong computer skills in Windows OS and PC hardware. Windows Server 2012R2 beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and the capability to explain and communicate about complex technical matters.
Basic mathematical knowledge
Must hold a clean, full, UK driving licence
