Technical Sales Specialist, South West England
My client is a market leader in specialist laboratory equipment and we are looking for a new member for their live cell imaging equipment sales team. If you are currently working in technical sales of scientific capital equipment (particularly microscopy and imaging product ranges), then we would like to hear from you. In this role you will be working with leading clients in biopharma, biotech and academia across your designated territory (Oxford area, South Coast, South West and Wales).
You will have proven track record in managing accounts and proactive sales in the field as well as solid technical knowledge of high content imaging and cell culture techniques and applications.
What you will accomplish together with us:
- Assuring the development and execution of territory and account specific strategies
- Building long-term relationships in order to drive sales and achieve sustained success
- Using strong technical knowledge to position technical benefits of our solution to meet our customer's needs and beat competition
- Focussing resources on each of the target markets
- Implementing a robust step by step sales process with regular reviews
- Managing the region to build and maintain a strong pipeline
- Working closely with other sales specialists and members of marketing and support teams
Your profile
- Strong experience in selling scientific capital equipment
- Other work experience in cell/ life sciences field is helpful
- Excellent prospecting and customer acquisition skills
- Familiarity with strategic sales process for managing complex sales
- Proactive, driven by results and reaching targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
