Brilliant role for a technical sales specialist of scientific capital equipment! In this role you will be working with leading clients in biopharma, biotech and academia across your designated territory (Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Huntingdonshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire).

This position is home based in the Cambridge area, with national and international travel.

About the position:
-Assuring the development and execution of territory and account specific strategies
-Building long-term relationships in order to drive sales and achieve sustained success
-Using strong technical knowledge to position technical benefits of our solution to meet our customer's needs and beat competition
-Focussing resources on each of the target markets
-Implementing a robust step by step sales process with regular reviews
-Managing the region to build and maintain a strong pipeline
-Working closely with other sales specialists and members of marketing and support teams


You will have proven track record in managing accounts and proactive sales in the field as well as solid technical knowledge of high content screening, microplate detection and flow cytometry.
-Strong experience in selling scientific capital equipment
-Other work experience in cell/ life sciences field is helpful
-Excellent prospecting and customer acquisition skills
-Familiarity with strategic sales process for managing complex sales
-Proactive, driven by results and reaching targets
-Strong communication and negotiation skills
