TERRITORY: North UK and North Wales
CUSTOMERS: Industrial and Academic Labs

The company are a well-known supplier of chromatography products, have a great reputation for product quality and a high performance team-focused environment.
The position is field-based with around 80% travel required.

Role: Effectively maintain existing business and grow sales and profit in-line with monthly targets for the territory through field sales activity.

Main Responsibilities:
Maintaining and developing existing business
Prospect and generate new business
Follow-up on leads gained from marketing activity
Achieve sales against target for the designated region
Closing of sale opportunities
Attendance at industry networking events, exhibitions, conferences and seminars
Monitor competitor activity and analysis
Sales analysis and reporting

Person Specification:
BSc as a minimum qualification
Sales experience is essential for this role, however, scientists with a strong background in chromatography and able to demonstrate excellent commercial awareness and drive to move into technical sales will be considered.
A chromatography background or laboratory experience would also be beneficial.
