We currently have a vacancy for a Service Technician based in the South East, reporting to the National Weighing Service Manager.

You will be field-based and be responsible for the installation, calibration and breakdowns of a range of laboratory balances and industrial scales. You will take charge of these activities and working with the customer, perform them to enhance and re-enforce the customer relationship at all times.

You will also ensure that all requirements under Health and Safety legislation; customer specific site regulations and required quality systems are adhered to and actively demonstrate the support of other areas/departments within the company. At times you will also be required to provide personal information to our customers so that they can conduct their security checks.

Person Spec:
Ideally you will have a strong background in a field based service role with knowledge of Weighing equipment. The role will require occasional periods away from home especially throughout the training period.

You should be proactive, self-motivated, customer focused and outcome orientated. You should also be professional and able to demonstrate a flexible approach with a sense of urgency and effective time management skills. Competency with MS Operating Systems, MS office, and in the use of fault finding tools i.e. circuit drawings, DVM etc to diagnose problems is essential.

You must possess a full driving license and be flexible enough to cover other areas in the UK as required.

Package:
There is further enhanced with OT payable at time and a third, time and a half and double time.
