Medical Device Engineer - Bristol & Weston-super-Mare areas
Approximately 90% of time workshop based with 10% field travel.

As a medical device engineer, you will utilise your technical knowledge to develop, document and carry out procedures for the repair and/or service of a wide range of high value diagnostic and therapy equipment. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to develop relationships with our existing customer-base and further develop new relationships, increasing opportunities as a result.

Your role will include
Technical service on a wide range of high value diagnostic and therapy equipment.
First, second, and in some cases third line service for a wide range of preowned and new equipment.
Providing telephone assistance to customers and ensuring quality related responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.
Arranging & conducting training for customers.
Resolve technical queries arising from other internal departments and customers, either directly or through liaison with OEM.
Developing a detailed technical understanding of a wide range of medical devices.

Experience and skills (Essential)
Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
Independent and highly self-motivated.
HNC or equivalent in electronic engineering.
Previous outstanding track record within the medical industry.
Experience of Patient Monitoring, Anesthetic Machines, Infusion Devices and Endoscopy Stack Systems or similar
Full UK driving licence (requires on site repairs/diagnostics).

Use of pool car for any work travel
Good work life balance (The workshop needs to be manned between 9-5, but by working with our Service Manager, hours can be fairly flexible as long as contracted hours are completed)
