Role Overview

Are you an established Field Service Engineer based in Essex with a scientific background? Looking to join an established company with a fantastic culture? If so, then this is the opportunity for you!

An exciting full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our laboratory liquid handling instrumentation Service Team.

You will be responsible for the service and calibration of instruments at their Essex headquarters and throughout the UK.

Person Specification

- A successful track record in a customer-facing field service engineering capacity, working as a key part of a team including Service Administration and Sales.
- A qualification in engineering, electronics or a science-based subject is desirable, to a minimum of HND level. (Please note, this is not essential).
- Applications are welcome from Field Service Engineers from a broad range of sectors, as full and comprehensive product training will be provided.
- Knowledge and understanding of laboratories operating under GMP (good manufacturing practice) and GLP (good laboratory practice), Health and Safety regulations would be beneficial.
- Computer skills: PC controlled instrumentation, CRM systems & MS Office
- A well-organised, self-motivated and approachable personality with an attention to detail.
- An enthusiastic and professional communicator, able to identify sales opportunities for new & replacement instrumentation and service contracts
- Full UK driving licence

Competitive salary based on experience
Annual bonus (Company wide - previous bonuses have ranged between 8% and 15% of salary).
