Senior Medical Advisor (Oncology)
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Medical Advisor to join one of our Pharmaceutical clients in the field of Oncolgy / Haematology.
You will be responsible for contributing to and delivering elements of the medical affairs plan across the UK and Ireland under the leadership of the Medical Franchise lead.
Duties include:
· Medical input to the franchise team within their therapy area so that all activities are conducted to high standards
· Interacting with KOLs to deliver the therapy area medical affairs plan meeting KOL needs, compliance requirements and ethical considerations
· Providing medical support to other functions as directed by the Medical Franchise lead in the aligned therapy teams where required e.g. patient engagements, HTA submissions
· Contributes high quality input into Brand Plans and Strategic Plans ensuring that customer needs are understood and acted upon.
· Contribute to the local evidence generation strategy, plan and execution for the franchise
· Provide the franchise and brand teams with medical opinion in order to develop operational plans that align to patient needs so as to deliver commercial success.
What my client is looking for:
· Being qualified as a UK Registered Health Care Professional
· Ideally 5 years' + experience post registration, in a clinical practice environment.
· Knowledge of Regulatory guidelines, Medicines Act and the Human Medicines Regulations, - ABPI Code of Practice and Standard Operating Procedures, and experience of their implementation within the business environment
