Role Overview

Client management
ullet Thoroughly understands the accounts, client brands, strategy and market environments
ullet Manages the day-to-day running of accounts
ullet Ensures regular client update and manages any changes to planned activities
ullet Ensures materials produced on time and on budget, with all quality standards met
ullet Ensures projects are planned and resourced appropriately, and manages workflow

Project management
ullet Prepares realistic schedules for approval, and checks day-to-day progress of these
ullet Provides clear and accurate briefings to all personnel tasked with project
ullet Proactively alerts manager on any issues and recommends solutions and strategies
ullet Manages and motivates junior staff, proactively providing on the job training

Communication
ullet Writes comprehensive briefs which are thought through and appropriate
ullet Assists Account Directors with writing proposals and project plans
ullet Manages weekly situation reports and the completion of contact reports
ullet Demonstrates innovation and creativity beyond client ideas in brainstorms and when developing campaigns

Financial
ullet Develops estimates and billing timelines, and manages client invoicing according to schedule
ullet Raises purchase orders and tracks supplier costs
ullet Updates time and costs on finance trackers and is knowledgeable on the status of all finances, including timesheet management and final project reconciliation
ullet Provides financial admin support

New business
ullet Develops opportunities for growing existing business within current client pool
ullet Participates in developing new business pitches

Personal skills and attributes
ullet Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
ullet Ensures understanding and implementation of all agency processes and quality standards
ullet Builds understanding of all relevant codes of practice and legislation
ullet Behavioural background, as well as life sciences/medical sciences background, is a great benefit

Package

Up to £50,000 per annum
