Zenopa are recruiting on behalf of a large reputable Healthcare Comms agency in London/ Marlow or Oxford who are looking for a Scientific Team Leader to join their expanding team in any of their locations.

It's a chance to work for an extremely successful and vibrant agency alongside other client services personnel, editorial team members and the creative team to manage their client requirements and deliver projects.

Role Overview

The role is a dynamic position in a growing medical communications agency where you will be motivating and mentoring other team members and juniors and consistently delivering scientifically accurate work of high quality that meets the clients objectives and nurturing solid relationships with global pharma clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Experience of managing and developing a team of medical writers, and proven leadership and influencing skills in a commercial environment
Excellent organisation and project management skills, and a full understanding of industry regulations and guidelines underpinning medical communications activities

Person Specification

A bachelors degree (2:1 or higher) in a life science (biological sciences, biomedical sciences or biochemistry, or a closely related subject), and ideally also an MSc and/or PhD
At least 4 years experience as a senior medical writer or scientific team lead in a medical communications agency, with proven experience of line management
