Analytical Instrumentation sales covering Cardiff, Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas in the South-West.

PRODUCTS: Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry and Spectroscopy Instrumentation
TERRITORY: South-West UK (South Wales, Bristol, Bath, Hereford, Worcester, Gloucester, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall)
CLIENTS: Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Environmental, Industrial, Academic and Research Labs

A great opportunity for someone with a chemistry background and experience in scientific sales to join a growing global company with an excellent reputation for product quality, selling their analytical instrumentation.
This global company has consistently recorded year on year growth, invest heavily in innovation and new products and are a real market leader with further growth plans over the next few years so it is an exciting time to join!

- Maintain existing customer relationships, develop this existing business alongside hunting for new business opportunities.
- Ensure a suitable number of appointments each week to enable the continuous building of sales pipeline, ideally at least 3 customers per day.
- Research appropriate new customers who could benefit from the company's solutions and services.
- Maintain the Company CRM database for the territory in terms of all activity and customer contacts, customer information and sales opportunities, strictly on a regular basis.
- Attend and fully represent the company at any trade or media event e.g. exhibitions, which you may from time to time be asked to attend..
- Interact professionally with all other field staff that will from time to time be actively supporting you in the territory e.g. Technical Support Specialists, Service Engineers, Business Managers.

Chemistry/Biochemistry Degree (or similar qualification) is essential
Sales experience is essential (either analytical instrumentation or consumables), with good market knowledge and ability to grow business.
