Brilliant opportunity for a Life Science Capital Equipment Specialist to join a well-established market leader in Liquid Handling Automation! Covering a territory including Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Oxford, Bristol and Wales, you would be responsible for consultative technical sales into life science laboratories.

Objectives and scope of the job:
-This role is highly technical and consultative covering the company's automated liquid handling solutions. Laboratory automation sales are often an intricate and iterative sales process. The company's automation systems are highly flexible and a successful salesperson needs to develop credibility by deep automation knowledge and adopting a project management attitude to both pre and post sales activities.
-Manage sales of the company's liquid handling and detection solutions in individual territory to achieve or exceed sales targets
-Execute strategies and sales plans to achieve regional business and financial growth objectives (definition of strategy will be discussed with Commercial Manager)
-Grow the business in a sustainable and ethical manner
-Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
-3 years Life Science capital sales experience
-Selling in a consultative environment
-Balanced business personality with both ambition and integrity.
-Team player, diplomatic, modest and pragmatic
-Effective communicator and persuasive presenter
-Stress resistant with high flexibility, balancing both thinking and action.
Nice to have:
-Laboratory experience of automation
-PhD in Life Science
-Automation sales experience
