Great opportunity for a clinical diagnostics sales person to progress in a privately-owned healthcare company with an excellent reputation for product quality and a supportive environment.

TERRITORY: North East UK & Scotland (ideally based in the North East UK)
PRODUCTS: Clinical Diagnostics kits and instrumentation
CUSTOMERS: NHS and private clinical laboratories

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets for the defined region.
- Establish, agree and implement a business plan to assist with meeting and exceeding sales targets, focusing on customer-facing activity and targeting new accounts in order to expand and develop the business.
- Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts and prospective customers in the sector
- Arranging appointments with healthcare professionals, clinical and non-clinical scientists and researchers.
- Delivering presentations and promoting the product line to current and prospective customers.
- Keeping up with the latest clinical/technical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with customers.
- Ensure that customer contacts, appointments action and follow-up, market and competitor intelligence is used and noted on the company's CRM system and make wider colleagues aware if required too. Keep up to date with developments and changes within the NHS.

Person Specification:
Experience in clinical diagnostics sales, selling to NHS and private healthcare laboratories is preferred.
Preferred to have experience of blood transfusion, immunology or biochemistry either within sales or when working within the laboratory.
