A great opportunity for an experience sales person or a scientist who has hands on experience with analytical instruments in the laboratory to move into a sales representative role with an expanding specialist sales and service company!

PRODUCTS: Electrochemical detectors and reactors, MALDI imaging instruments, Robotic SPE systems, Sample clean-up systems, GPC and HPLC systems, and post column reactors.
CUSTOMERS: Pharmaceutical laboratories, research laboratories, hospital laboratories, water and environmental laboratories
TERRITORY: South UK (ideally located within 1 hours of their office in Milton Keynes)


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effective customer relationship management in a broad base of industries and applications.
Direct responsibility for sales negotiations and liaison with manufacturers.
Support the development of customer applications.
Participation at conferences and exhibitions.
Support the development of marketing communications with customers.
Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations and support customers on the use of their equipment.
Development of new business ventures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, biology or related discipline.
At least two years of experience of successfully selling/supporting analytical instruments.
Availability to travel throughout the area and occasionally overseas for training and business meetings.
Centrally located in the territory within easy access to main road network.
Based in a commutable distance from the office in Milton Keyes (1 hour)
Full UK Driving License
