An excellent opportunity for somebody with experience in an sales order processing role to take the next step in their career with a leading manufacturer of scientific instruments!

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Sales Order Processor to join their growing Inside Sales team. You will be responsible for acquiring and communicating product knowledge and streamlining the order management process for this portfolio. You will apply best practice to commercial and operational processes to promote and sell a portfolio of consumables.

This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and take ownership of it. The focus of the role is to coordinate the sales order process for this portfolio and work closely with the manufacturer to ensure a seamless supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Quoting and order processing for consumables;
· Coordinating lead times and manage customer expectations;
· Relationship management with consumables manufacturer;
· Managing customer communications for consumables sales and order enquiries;
· Promoting the consumables portfolio both internally and externally;
· Communicating regularly with existing customers to promote lead generation of consumables, including usage review and annual forecast;
· Preparing monthly sales data and reporting for the Consumables business stream;
· Implementing customer satisfaction and delivery performance KPIs.

REQUIREMENTS
· At least 1 to 2 years' experience in an sales order processing role (consumables-based would be advantageous);
· Professional customer-facing manner;
· Strong organisational and administration skills;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills;
· The ability to manage a variety of different tasks simultaneously and unsupervised;
· A high level of attention to detail and accuracy of work;
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant biology-based science would be advantageous.
