Role Overview

Our client is recruiting for a Sales Director (EMEA Central) to manage a field based team of sales professionals to ensure both country-level and sub-regional plans are achieved, requested by the VP EMEA Sales. Exceeding and meeting commercial expectations is an essential requirement of this role and this will be done through sales reports, monitoring progression in the sub-regions and good communication with the wider team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Build cross functional EMEA Central-regional and country-specific pods with other commercial leaders to ensure customer centric focus in delivering to targets
Device and consumable sales forecasting
Drafting reports to the VP, EMEA Sales on progress against the strategic business plan
Planning of commercial activity to implement the strategic business plan and sales plans as defined by the VP



Person Specification

>5 years track record as a Sales leader in genomics or equivalent field
Experience and expertise in establishing delivery against local sales plans in markets within the EMEA Central region
Commercial acumen, and deep understanding of the sales process, driving discipline in sales cycle across team
Successful leadership/remote team management experience
