Sales Development Representative, Northern Europe
Would you like to work for a company that is going places? We have this great opportunity for you. Your role will be to develop the business remotely and manage small and medium accounts across North Europe for our Laboratory Products and Services division. Your strength will be in relationship building, with good understanding of the life science research environment and, ideally about the range of products we sell (balances, pipettes, filtration and consumables products, or on bioanalytics systems etc.)
This position is based remotey from home or at our office in Royston and you will work remotely without visiting the customers.
What you will accomplish together with us:
- Cultivate strong customer loyalty and build long-term relationships with a range of accounts, upselling and increasing revenue
- Identifying new prospects and establishing business relationships with new potential clients
- Understand customer's processes, identify opportunities and customer priorities
- Promote assigned product portfolio (incl. cross-selling) remotely using all available technology
- Leading price and contract negotiations
- Maintaining accurate customer information and all documentation on the system
- Delivering ongoing product servicing by providing accurate product information, training and support where needed
- Work closely with other departments in order to provide customers with full technical information and product demonstrations to make a successful sale
- Utilising all available sales tools to maximise sales efficiency (Salesforce, LinkedIn)

Person Profile
What will convince us:
- Educated to a degree level in a life science discipline or equivalent
- Understanding of the life sciences industry and laboratory products
- Previous sales experience necessary, with experience in managing a sales process, including opportunity qualification, pre-call planning and time management
- Strong consultative approach in dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong sales and relationship building skills
- Strong presentation / communication skills over phone & VC
- Capable of working independently and as a part of a team
- Possessing strong business acumen, resilient and target driven
- Highly organised
