The role will be to provide effective sales leadership and direction to recruit, motivate, develop and lead a team of sales professionals to meet sales objectives.
Region - West (ideal location Birmingham, Oxford or Bristol)
Key responsibilities:
- To develop a regional and tactical business plan focusing on key issues specific to the region.
- Maintain close contact with key customers and accounts within region.
- Ensure a culture of commercial awareness and relationship management is shared and acted upon within the team. To coordinate and conduct sales cycle meetings
- Manage talent and succession planning responsibilities.
- Clear coaching and performance management of team using the professional selling skills principles and coordinate initial and on-going sales specialists development through product and sales career framework.
- Ensure effective planning and launch of new products in conjunction with the marketing team and focus follow through with sales team.
- Ensure a strong and integrated relationship with Key Opinion Leaders and integrated continuing education programme.
- To co-ordinate strategic plans and activity through the regional sales team and to ensure focus, understanding and delivery of the company objectives consistently within the region
Person specification:
- Proven people management and leadership experience - Healthcare, ideally dental
- Sales Experience is essential/Dental sales experience preferred
- Proven success and able to bring techniques and passion for best practice in this field
- Ability to manage a mobile team.
- Professional with proven ability to build appropriate relationships with key stakeholders.
- Able to apply Professional Selling Skills principles to all sales situations.
- Financial and Commercial awareness
- Computer literate - excel, power point, outlook, and CRM systems
- Confident, articulate with the ability to resolve conflict
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making abilities
