Regional Account Manager selling haematology diagnostics products to NHS and private laboratories in the South-East, including London, Kent, Portsmouth, Milton Keynes, Epsom. A great opportunity for someone who has previous experience in the diagnostic arena specialising in Haematology.

This position is with a well-known manufacturer of Haematology and coagulation diagnostic analysers. The role will involve providing day-to-day account management and contract issue resolution support to Customers within the South-East region.

PRODUCTS: Haematology and coagulation diagnostic analysers, reagents and information systems
TERRITORY: South-East UK
CLIENTS: NHS and private clinical laboratories

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
You would be expected to work 2 days per week at key account sites in London. The remainder of your working week you will be expected to cover the rest of your designated territory

General Responsibilities:
-Managing and co-ordinating the resolution of technical service, product and application support issues at customer accounts within their region(s)
-Identifying and delivering business development opportunities at Customer accounts within their region(s) within the terms of their contracts
-Protect existing business
-Planning and forecasting


PERSON SPECIFICATION:
-Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the diagnostic arena
-Complex data analysis
-Negotiation skills
-Formal Account Management training (desirable)
-Life Science or Business University degree or equivalent (desirable)
-Previous Sales experience in the In Vitro Diagnostic industry (desirable)
