Role Overview
My client is looking for an R&D Extraction Scientist to take on responsibility for RNA / DNA extraction protocol development at their site in Glasgow. They are looking for someone experienced in R&D who is looking for a challenge or someone who has experience with RNA / DNA extraction technique development. This is an exciting opportunity to have autonomy over a project and work within a global life sciences company at the forefront of scientific development.Key Duties and Responsibilities
What will you be doing?- researching new product requirements- development of extraction techniques- providing technical support and assistance to customers and colleaguesPerson Specification
What is my client looking for? - Minimum degree level qualification in chemistry / molecular biology / microbiology / virology- Industry lab experience in R&D environment working on the development of DNA/RNA extraction techniques or process / product development in molecular biology- Knowledge of IVD, medical devices, or diagnostics (desirable)- experience of working with ISO13485 / ISO9001 (desirable)Package
