Product Support Role covering a Midlands and East of England territory supporting the company's molecular/ microbiology products.

Great opportunity for a Biomedical Scientist with experience working in a Clinical Microbiology/Virology/Molecular Laboratory, looking to use their knowledge in a customer-focused technical support role involving pre-sales demonstrations, instrument installations, post-sales training and troubleshooting.

This new position is a superb opportunity for the successful candidate to provide dedicated support to our micro / virology laboratories for the molecular solutions placed within NE England - with the opportunity to support sites in the surrounding area. Based from a key strategic site, you will provide front-line support across a variety of analytical systems covering mostly technical engineering as well as application and IT support.
The IT Services office based team is specifically responsible for first line customer support hotline, escalation of issues to global and training on in office and on the customer site.

· Educated to degree or equivalent in Biomedical Science
· Post Degree experience working in a modern laboratory environment or supporting high value / high tech capital equipment.
· Have proven troubleshooting skills and a passion for customer service.
· An effective communicator, you'll deal comfortably with people both face-to-face and by telephone
· Be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
· Be able to operate well in a team environment.

In addition, the following would be desirable but not essential:
· Experience in workflow automation
· User Training delivery
· Good Presentation skills
