A fantastic role for an experienced Product or Marketing Manager to take charge of the marketing activities for a market-dominating laboratory efficiency automation product range! This is a home based position with regular travel across UK & Ireland.

Objective of the role:
This is a combination of product and strategic marketing management. The Product Manager is responsible for designing and setting up a marketing strategy ensuring growth and profitability for the company.

Main Accountabilities:
- Ensure Marketing support for the UK/Ireland and contribute to the achievement of the sales budget of the Product range through strategic Marketing management and operational Product Marketing activities.
- Managing the main product range within UK and Ireland territory as a co-exclusive distributor.
- Develop Marketing Plans. Prepare Sales Budget for the relative product and defend it. Control costs, revenues and profitability for the relative products.
- Spend time in field (40-50% of time) on a regular basis to support sales, independent & KOL activities and visits, to prepare arguments and to market test before a product launch.
- Launch of new products/instrument/services following the launch process. Take ownership of these launches and when ready transfer the knowledge to the sales force.
- Develop a network of Key Opinion Leaders.
- To act as a positive ambassador for the company at all times.
- Continuously follow courses, trainings about related products and its competition to become an the local expert in defined product ranges.

Experience:
- Scientific discipline (microbiology) and knowledge of lean laboratory workflow.
- Several years technical as well as commercial/product management or marketing experience in "Professional Services" field, must have operational experience.
- Experience with "Professional Services" marketing tools and concepts.
- IT Marketing experience.
