Product Manager - Histopathology

We are looking for a Product Manager for a highly innovative diagnostics company. This is a great opportunity for someone with existing diagnostic product management experience or someone who has diagnostic sales experience to move into a product management role.

The role involves defining and implementing the strategic and tactical management of products (Histopathology) under the position's responsibility as well as support the activities of the salesforce in promoting the company's products.
You will be responsible for liaising with manufacturing and suppliers of products to ensure that product and marketing information is used in a timely and effective manner.

- Campaign Plans - To develop effective periodic marketing campaigns and communicate these to the sales force.
- Launch Plans - Ensure that launch plans are maintained up to date at all times.
- Tenders - Reply to all appropriate tenders and ensure that all tenders arrive before the specified deadline.
-Exhibition Management - Relevant exhibitions all attended on time, with a positive company image.
- Advertising - Ensure that all advertising is carried out according to promotional plan and in line with company image.
- Liaison with suppliers - Develop and maintain liaison with suppliers to ensure up-to-date information is maintained within the company.
- Sales Forecast - Sales forecast for stock purchases to be submitted according to deadlines set by Finance Department.

- Degree or relevant professional qualification in a scientific field
- A knowledge of the practical clinical application in the field, ideally gained through direct work experience in an NHS clinical laboratory.
- Ideally direct sales experience selling products into NHS customers
- Ideally experience in launching new products into the UK clinical diagnostics market.
