Roche are looking to recruit a new Outcome Specialist for the Midlands area. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role requires a resilient entrepreneurial professional able to drive access strategies and value communication to primary and secondary care Key Opinion Leaders including Consultants, AHSN's and Pathology Networks. This will require developing clinical summaries, product dossiers and value messages in support to National reimbursement submissions in collaboration with our health economics & innovation experts.
Within this specialist team, you will be pivotal in driving new business through guideline adoption to support our market leading position.
As part of an extended multifunctional team, you will support a wide range of projects focusing on evidence synthesis, evidence generation and value communication to support market access, reimbursement and pricing strategy in the Midlands Region.

Skills & Experience
You are a self-starter and strategic thinker who holds the customer at the heart of what you do on a daily basis. You have proven experience of translating clinical and economic data into successful sales outcomes.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be able to demonstrate practical examples of driving service transformation across primary and secondary care. With a sound understanding of the evolution of the UK National Health System strategy, you will be able to continuously assess and advise on the implications for our Diagnostics business.
You have strong team working and excellent interpersonal skills, a clear understanding of the local NHS environment and drivers and the ability to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrable commercial experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices and/or diagnostics
- Be competent at collaboration and influencing senior decision-makers within a complex, rapidly changing NHS environment
- Proven track record of interpreting health economic models to drive access strategies and influencing key stakeholders and partners
- Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth
- Good understanding/practice of the public sector tender process

Job Package

Basic Gross Salary: commensurate on experience

Person Profile

Experience
- Demonstrable commercial experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices and/or diagnostics
- Be competent at collaboration and influencing senior decision-makers within a complex, rapidly changing NHS environment
- Proven track record of interpreting health economic models to drive access strategies and influencing key stakeholders and partners
- Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth
- Good understanding/practice of the public sector tender process
- Established in transferring knowledge & skills between a Primary and Secondary healthcare setting (desirable)

Key skills/knowledge:
- Good knowledge of the structure, needs and agendas of NHS funding systems, payers and influencers across the UK
- Strong entrepreneurial and business acumen with the ability to recognise trends and dynamics within the UK healthcare setting and capitalise on opportunities
- Strong engagement with all relevant wider market access teams to understand and define the access strategies for pipeline and in-market products
- Skilled in fostering cross-functional teams in a strong matrix environment with internal/ external stakeholders
- Comfortable managing multiple complex sales cycle and product launches using modern CRM tools
- A proven ability to focus and work with attention to detail, along with retaining critical information
- Strong problem solving, persuasion, and negotiation skills; being able to execute solutions/deliverables in a timely manner.
- Excellent project management, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and oral English skills
- Proficient in Microsoft packages such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
