Bupa Dental Care has acquired nine new dental practices from Northern Ireland to the south coast of England, comprising a mix of private and NHS dentistry. The list includes b-dental in Islington, Alderney Dental Practice in Poole, Wimborne Total Dental Care, Old Church Dental Practice in Halifax, and King Lane Dental Care in Leeds.
Clinical director for Hospital Lane Dental and Implant Clinic, Tony Auger, said: “Since establishing the clinic in 1990, we’ve worked hard to build up a reputation for implant and specialist referral treatment. As part of Bupa, we’ll be able to grow the clinic as a regional referral centre. Supporting a network of corporate clinics, our specialists can create a hub for high-end treatment. With their investment and centralised resources in place, we’ll be able to focus on providing the high standard of care our patients and peers expect.”
“More acquisitions for Bupa Dental Care in UK and Ireland“
General manager for Bupa Dental Care, Gabriela Pueyo, said: “While we have ambitious growth plans, it’s really important that we’re bringing on practices that share our high standards. With their commitment to customers and clinical excellence, I’m delighted to welcome these latest teams to the Bupa Dental Care family, and look forward to supporting their continued success. As part of Bupa our clinicians get support with things like clinical governance and HR, meaning they’re free to focus on their patients, great dentistry and their own personal development.”
