Henry Schein has announced the launch of a new dental technology joint venture with Internet Brands, a leading provider of web presence and online marketing software.
The new venture will be called Henry Schein One, and will deliver integrated dental technology to help the dental profession improve practice management and marketing standards, while also enhancing patient communication.

Henry Schein Practice Solutions will contribute its market-leading suite of US-centric practice management systems to the venture, including brands such as Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Easy Dental and TechCentral, plus international systems like Software of Excellence, Logiciel Julie, InfoMed, Exan and LabNe.
The new company's chief executive officer (CEO) will be James Harding, the current senior vice-president and CEO of Henry Schein's global practice solutions group. In total, Henry Schein will employ approximately 1,500 team members.
