Public Health England (PHE) has announced that it has awarded a two-year contract to Freuds to work on its marketing campaigns, with the option of the partnership being extended for a further year before repitching.
The agency was up against three others for the contract, and secured it after impressing PHE with previous work it has delivered for the government health department, including the collateral for its Change4Life campaign.
“Public Health England has awarded a new two-year contract to agency Freuds to deliver its marketing campaigns.“
According to PRWeek, a 15-strong team at Freuds will now be tasked with delivering further multimedia campaigns for PHE, including its annual Stoptober public health marketing drive.
Sheila Mitchell, director of marketing at PHE, explained: "Freuds will provide a programme of consumer engagement across the three life courses: Starting Well, Living Well and Ageing Well."
She added that the contract will also include other ad hoc marketing tasks from time to time.
PHE would not disclose financial details of the contract to PRWeek.
