Siemens Healthineers to help NHS trust to overhaul radiology services

Siemens Healthineers has announced a new partnership agreement with Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, delivering managed equipment services (MES) over a ten-year period.

The company will provide the trust's hospital in Kingston with comprehensive services for all medical imaging systems, with professionals from Siemens Healthineers to be integrated into the trust's team to help optimise the radiology department's processes.

“Siemens Healthineers has partnered with Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to help overhaul its radiology department.“

This will include the provision, updating and maintenance of imaging systems, ranging from angiography to computed tomography, ultrasound, X-rays and molecular imaging, as well as financing services, taking charge of facility planning, training clinical users and providing technical support.

It will also provide solutions to improve operational and clinical efficiency using a radiology performance management service, with the overall aim of transforming the delivery of care for the trust's 320,000 patients.
