Boehringer Ingelheim competition helps UK vet travel to Thailand

Animal Health Supplier News

Boehringer Ingelheim has named British vet Vicky Morton as the winner of a competition it has run to promote its feline kidney disease therapy Semintra.

Ms Morton, a veterinary surgeon from Vale Vets Hospital in Portishead, has won a trip for two people to Phuket in Thailand to attend the International Society of Feline Medicine autumn conference, which runs from November 7th to 9th.

“Boehringer Ingelheim has helped a Portishead vet travel to Thailand as part of a competition to promote its Semintra brand.“

She was entered into the prize draw after viewing three webinars on feline chronic kidney disease on the Boehringer Academy website, covering the role of the Idexx SDMA system in the diagnosis of the disease, as well as the importance of early diagnosis and the best ways of adopting a balanced approach to treatment.

These seminars remain available to view on demand on the company's website, which also provides additional information on the benefits offered by Semintra.

Mr Morton said: "We are not only looking forward to the extensive scientific programme, but we are also hoping to take some time out to experience both the culture and the water sports available at the resort."
