CVS launches new MiPet Cover insurance offering

CVS has announced the launch of MiPet Cover, a new range of premium insurance products for owners of dogs and cats.

Introduced to clients via CVS small animal surgeries and online during August 2017, the comprehensive suite of insurance solutions is the first to be integrated directly into a practice management system, making it easier to provide quotes and activate policies.

The products have also been developed with feedback from vets and customers in mind to provide optimal transparency for owners, including policy documents which are clear, concise and free of legalese.

Simon Morrall, an insurance professional with more than ten years of experience, was hired by CVS in December 2015 to create this new range of pet insurance products. The launch follows workshops with CVS teams and extensive market research.

Simon Innes, chief executive at CVS, said: "We now offer a comprehensive range of services to support the care of pets throughout their lifetime, including in the unfortunate event of accident or illness."
