Indigenus healthcare comms alliance renamed as The Bloc Partners
Marketing ServicesThe Indigenus alliance of creative healthcare agencies has announced that it is changing its name to The Bloc Partners.
Taking the name of one of its founding partners, the group is rebranding to coincide with a change in approach, with members agreeing to operate as a more unified entity, while continuing to remain independent organisations with shared values and a common purpose.
“Indigenus, an international alliance of creative healthcare agencies, has adopted a new name - The Bloc Partners.“
As part of this shift, new internal processes, tools and initiatives will be rolled out later this year to strengthen the alliance's unity, foster innovation and facilitate operational excellence.
Established in 2004, The Bloc Partners is the largest global alliance of leading independent health creative agencies, offering full-service capabilities to both global and local clients worldwide.

In addition to US-based agency The Bloc, the alliance includes organisations such as the UK's Life Healthcare Communications, Serviceplan Health and Life in Germany, Strategik and Numerik in France and Italy's Thenewway.
A statement from the group said: "This transformation will allow agencies to better access each other for best practices, learnings and resources, as well as provide the 500-plus alliance employees with increased international opportunities and exposure."
