Henry Schein has announced a new exclusive distribution agreement with Simplifeye, a leading provider of healthcare technologies.
The Simplifeye product has now been certified as Dentrix Connected, allowing patient information to be transmitted from Henry Schein's dental practice management software Dentrix to Apple Watch wearables and iPhones.
“Henry Schein Practice Solutions has announced a new exclusive distribution agreement with Simplifeye, connecting wearable technology to Henry Schein's dental practice management software.“
This marks the first time that wearable technology, such as smartwatches, have been linked to dental practice management software, enabling practitioners to simplify their everyday procedures, streamline workflows and provide a more personalised patient experience.
Simplifeye is the first product to be launched from Henry Schein's Global Innovation Center, which was created in June 2015 to focus on developing cutting-edge solutions, based on innovative technologies and business models.
Kevin Bunker, president of Henry Schein Dental Practice Solutions in North America, said: "We are excited about this strategic partnership, and look forward to working with Simplifeye to ensure our customers have the technology that will take their practice to the next level."
