Virgo Health and Roche UK have won the prize for best employee engagement programme at the recent UK Corp Comms Awards 2016.
The pharmaceutical company approached Virgo to support its team in converting the Roche UK workforce into ambassadors of the firm's product pipeline who are able to articulate and communicate the potential of the products.
“ Virgo Health has won the prize for best employee engagement for its work with Roche at the 2016 UK Corp Comms Awards.“
The organisations worked together to develop a campaign designed to engage the Roche team on an emotional level via an interactive event and compelling video content, helping staff to understand the drug discovery process and its applications.
Although it was hoped that 80 employees would attend the event, the actual attendance exceeded 300, with strong feedback received. Exceptional improvements in knowledge levels of Roche's pipeline were seen, with 97 percent of employees feeling excited about the future of the company.
The judging panel praised the programme for its creativity and execution when explaining why Virgo and Roche were selected for the prize.
Sue Neilen, head of communications at Virgo Health, said: "We're delighted to be recognised for our work in helping our clients build corporate trust through strengthening internal pride."
