Carestream Dental has launched a new software package that helps dental professionals to manage, promote and foster growth for their practices.

The eConnections software was developed in partnership with MMG Fusion and represents an all-in-one solution incorporating appointment reminders, online scheduling and online brand management functions.

This includes the management of ratings and reviews, local search engine optimisation, online directories, return-on-investment tracking, and call recording and analysis.

Users can simply sign into to a single dashboard to manage their online presence and reputation, patient communications, scheduling and marketing, while drawing data from the CS OrthoTrac, CS SoftDent, CS PracticeWorks or CS WinOMS practice management software packages.

Robert Patrick, global director of product line management at Carestream Dental, said: "We've partnered with MMG Fusion to deliver solutions for practices to more effectively connect with their patients, better manage their online brand presence and make more informed marketing decisions."

The company also updated its Logicon Caries Detector software to version 5.2 earlier this month, introducing a number of additional features and access to an online user support resource.
