Park House Healthcare wins Fleet Environmental Award

Medical Company Product News

Park House Healthcare has won an award from Fleet World Magazine recognising the sustainability of its logistical operations.

The firm received a Fleet Environmental Award thanks to the proven innovation, quality and sustainability of its fleet, following an assessment by an impartial judging panel.

“Park House Healthcare has been presented with a Fleet Environmental Award by Fleet World Magazine, recognising the sustainability of its supply chain.“

Key initiatives that helped Park House earn this prize included the introduction of telemetric tracking systems into its vehicles, allowing it to track data on how the fleet is utilised and providing greater control in terms of risk reduction and environmental impact.

Additionally, the company checks driving licences regularly and monitors driver telematics performance and driving style scores across the fleet.

The company said: "We now have two trained internal assessors, as well as external training partners who would provide appropriate training so that drivers understand the risks and how to avoid them."

In 2015, Park House expanded its fleet by 16 vehicles while replacing all but two of its cars with new environmentally-friendly Euro 6-compliant leased vehicles. In doing so, it has been able to reduce fuel usage and CO2 emissions.
