Park House parent company Drive Medical merges with DeVilbiss Healthcare

Medical Company Restructures

Park House Healthcare's parent company Drive Medical will be integrating its European business with that of DeVilbiss Healthcare.

Drive Medical acquired Park House Healthcare last April, before purchasing DeVilbiss Healthcare in July 2015. Building on this, it has now decided to create a combined European business called Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare.

“Park House Healthcare's parent company Drive Medical has merged its European subsidiary with DeVilbiss Healthcare.“

This integration is scheduled to occur within the next 12 months, and has been initiated in response to consumer demand for a more integrated customer experience.

Product ordering, shipping and invoicing functions will be unified following the merger, with the companies' sales forces and management teams also set to be combined. This will allow Drive DeVilbiss customers to work with a single, dedicated sales associate.

The integration will begin with the two organisations' export divisions, followed by the local businesses in the UK, France, Germany and Australia.

A statement from the company said: "The North American integration of Drive and DeVilbiss which occurred in October 2015 has been a great success ... and we are confident that our European customers will be likewise pleased with the benefits that come with the new Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare."
