Woolley Pau Gyro has announced the promotions of David Gilchrist and Gareth Williams to new roles within its team.

Mr Gilchrist, who joined the agency in 2014 as deputy creative director, has taken on the role of creative director, based on the flair for innovation and talent management he has shown during his time at Woolley Pau Gyro.

“Woolley Pau Gyro has appointed David Gilchrist as its new creative director and Gareth Williams as a client services director.“

Prior to joining the firm, he occupied the deputy creative director role at TBWA Paling Walters.

Executive creative director of Woolley Pau Gyro Dean Woolley said: "David has shown he has exactly the blend of talents needed for the unique demands of creative leadership."

Meanwhile, Mr Williams has been appointed as a client services director, responsible for ensuring the agency is aligned to the needs and challenges of its healthcare sector clients, including Astellas, Lundbeck, Napp, Otsuka, Roche and Teva.

During the past six years, he has worked his way up from account director to senior account director to business director, and will now continue his progress by stepping up to a new role.
