GCI Health named global healthcare agency of the year

GCI Health has been presented with the title of global healthcare agency of the year at the Global SABRE Awards, organised annually by The Holmes Report.

Presented at the Global PR Summit in Miami on the evening of October? 28th, the awards event saw GCI Health claim the accolade ahead of fellow finalists inVentiv Health, Pegasus, TogoRun and Virgo Health.

“GCI Health has been named healthcare agency of the year at the 2015 Global SABRE Awards.“

The agency has responded proactively to evolving conditions in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, delivering successful campaigns for clients such as Biogen, Genentech, Medtronic, Sanofi, Allergan and Pfizer.

Providing internal and external corporate communications support to clients, the firm also recently launched a thought leadership initiative that highlighted the gap between pharmaceutical companies' intentions on patient-centric care and their actual performance in this area.

The Holmes Report noted: "The firm has tripled in size over the past five years and, after 35 percent growth in 2014, now has fees comfortably in excess of $25 million (16.21 million pounds)."
