Porter Novelli hires new head of UK health and wellness practice

Porter Novelli has announced the appointment of Nicole Yost as head of its UK health and wellness practice.

Ms Yost will lead project work for high-profile clients and has also been tasked with further growing the practice, working in close collaboration with division head Paul George.

“Porter Novelli has appointed Nicole Yost from Ogilvy Healthworld as head of its UK health and wellness practice.“

She joins the agency from Ogilvy Healthworld, where she served as senior director for the PR team. During her time with Ogilvy, Ms Yost supported pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across a range of comms programmes and therapy areas, including oncology, central nervous system, diabetes, rare diseases and nutrition.

Her past client work involved devising campaigns for Roche, Boehringer Ingelheim, Lundbeck and Nestle, while previous employers include College Hill Life Sciences and Tudor Reilly.

Fenella Grey, Porter Novelli's UK managing director, said: "Our health and wellness practice has recently scored several big wins, and this important hire will continue to propel the global practice forward in 2015."

The global agency has made a number of hires recently, naming Dave Black and Paul George as partners within its leadership team, while appointing Christine Cea to head its global consumer practice.
